Punjab, the state of India and heartland of India’s Sikh community is a very peaceful and a beautiful state. It is located in the northwestern part of subcontinent and is bounded by the states of India like Jammu &Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana , Rajasthan and by the country of Pakistan. Punjab as a state came into existence on November 1 , 1966.
